In view of the incessant rainfall and the consequent rise in water levels causing severe flooding in and around Naginimora Sub-Division, and considering the imminent danger posed to public safety, the general public is hereby advised to strictly adhere to the following safety measures: -

            1)      Cooperate with District Administration, Police, Disaster Management authorities and all emergency responders by complying with the instruction and evacuation orders.

            2)      Avoid all non-essential travel, particularly near rivers, streams, bridges, landslide -prone areas and flood-affected locations.

            3)      Do not attempt to cross flooded roads, culverts or bridges, or walk, swim or drive through fast- flowing water.

            4)      Stay away from damaged electrical installations, fallen power lines and water logged areas where electrical hazards may exist.

            5)      Keep a close watch on children, elderly persons and other vulnerable members of the community and extend necessary assistance wherever possible.

            6)      Follow only official issued by the District Administration and refrain from spreading unverified information or rumors.

            7)      The cooperation of all citizens is earnestly solicited to ensure the safety of lives and property during this emergency. The public is requested to remain vigilant, exercise utmost caution and extend support to the authorities in managing the situation.
