The Deputy Commissioner, Longleng has informed that due to incessant rain, it has caused damaged to National Highways along Longleng-Changtongya, Longleng-Tamlu, Longleng-Aboi (Mon), Longleng-Tuensang routes, severely affecting and completely cutting off inter-District & intra-Village connectivity across Longleng District;

In this regard the Deputy Commissioner stated that it is found exigent to impose immediate restrictions on the sale of Petrol & Diesel to ensure equitable distribution and maintain essential supplies;

In this connection, the DC directed that the general public shall strictly adhere to the regulations issued by the district authority to avoid panic buying and hoarding of fuel. The sale of Petrol and Diesel is strictly limited to a maximum of 5 liters per vehicle, and the sale and purchase of fuel in jerry-can/containers is strictly prohibited

It stated that the order shall remain in force until further notifications from this Office.
