Governor of Nagaland, Nand Kishore Yadav, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic landslide in Mon District that claimed precious lives and caused extensive damage to property and infrastructure.

            The Governor conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls. He also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the incident.

            The Governor appreciated the dedicated efforts of the District Administration, NSDMA, SDRF, Nagaland Police, Assam Rifles, medical personnel, and all agencies engaged in the ongoing rescue and relief operations. He appealed to the people to remain vigilant and follow official advisories.

            The Governor said his thoughts and prayers are with the people of Mon and all those affected by the ongoing adverse weather across the State.
