The District Transport Office, Tuensang has notified that in compliance with the Emergency Demolition order No.DC-TSG/DDMA/2021-22/308 dated 23-07-2026, issued by the Deputy Commissioner & Chairman DDMA Tuensang, declaring the office building of the District Transport Officer, Tuensang as structurally unsafe and prone to collapse due to incessant rainfall and landslides and directing its emergency demolition to avert disaster.

In this regard the DTO, Tuensang informed to the general public that the District Transport Office Tuensang will remain closed with effect from 24-07-2026 until further notice. All Motor Vehicle related work including issuance of driving licence, vehicle registration, tax collection, permits and other public service will remain suspended during this period.
