The Department of Power issues Public Notice to the all consumers and stakeholders that the Department of Power, Govt. of Nagaland, a Deemed Licensee, has filed its Petition For approval of ARR & Tariff Proposal for the FY 2026-27(w.e.f. from 01.10.2026 to 31.03.2027) before the Nagaland Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), on 28th Nov’, 2025 & Revised calculation submitted on 27th July, 2026 under section 61, 62 & 64 of the Electricity Act 2003 and NERC MYT Tariff Regulations, 2016.
The petition has been admitted by the Commission on 3rd July, 2026 and numbered as Petition No. 02/2026-27. The proposals are as summarized hereunder:

It is submitted that the Component wise details of ARR & other parameters, proposed by the Department of Power, Govt. of Nagaland may be increased, decreased or may amended by the NERC, even if not proposed by the licensee, to meet the requirements of Tariff Policy, Electricity Act and any decision by the APTEL or the Supreme Court on any Electricity related matter.
The consumers and other stakeholders are invited to give their written suggestions/objections/
Copies of filings and application referred at above are available in the office of the Chief Engineer (D & R), RMC Branch, Department of Power, Govt. of Nagaland, Kohima-797 001.
Interested parties may inspect / peruse the said Tariff Petition and take note thereof during office hours at the office. Further, Copies of the above documents can also be obtained from the above office on payment of Rs.200/- for each set in cash or through DD.
