DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS, on 12th June 2021 issued an order with regard to the movement of Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) on ODD-EVEN basis to be effective till 18th June 2021 within Mon District. 

Odd Number Day: Vehicles with registration number ending with odd numbers will be allowed to play on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 

Even Number Day: Vehicles with registration number ending with even numbers will be allowed to play on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. 

Violation of this Order will invite penalties U/S 177 and 179 of the MV Act 1988. Exempted categories mentioned in Order No. GA/DEV/COVID-19/2020/1049 Mon, dated the 13th May 2021, shall continue to be exempted. All Officers and Staffs in the exempted category should carry Identity Cards issued by respective HoDs. Further, members of the District Task Force Mon are also exempted from the purview of this order.
