Along with the rest of the World, Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Phek observed the week-long World Toilet week, organized by DWSM PHED Phek and sponsored by WSSO PHED Kohima.

Cleanliness drives was conducted at Government High School, Sohomi village on 16th November and Good Shepherd School, Pholami village on 17th November, followed by cleaning of Anganwadi centres at Phek village on 17th November. On 19th November, Painting competition and cleanliness drive was carried out at Government High School, Akhegwo village.
