Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Shashank Singh, IAS has informed the general public that the road to Suruhuto via Longsa has been blocked due to a heavy landslide. Therefore, all the commuters/public have been advised to avoid taking the said route for safety till the road is cleared. The alternative routes are advised for all forms of light, medium, and heavy vehicles bound for Suruhuto and Aghunato-

Suruhuto: All vehicles to take diversion via Lumami-Akuluto-Kitsakita-Suruhuto.

Aghunato: All vehicles to take diversion via Lumami-Akuluto-Zunheboto-Aghunato.
