In connection with the Right to Information Act. 2005 the Government of Nagaland has designated officers for performing functions under the said Act in respect of information under the control of the Information & Public Relations Department, Government of Nagaland.

V. Maria Yanthan, Commissioner & Secretary, Information & Public Relations as Appellate Authority; Kusa Fithu, Joint Secretary, Information & Public Relations as Public Information Officer and Peter Chawang, Deputy Secretary, Information & Public Relations
as the Assistant Public Information Officer respectively.
