The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA), in a press release, stated that it was delighted by the overwhelmingly positive responses received so far from all the participants in the global celebration of Olympic Day. The event, themed “Let’s Move” Learn, Discover, together for a better world, is scheduled to take place on 24th June 2023 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
The following running races will be held as part of the event:
1. 30 Meters: 4 years and above – below 6years (Born after 1st June 2017)
2. 50 Meters: 6 years and above – below 9years (Born after 1st June 2014)
3. 80 Meters: 9 years and above – below 13years (Born after 1st June 2010)
4. 100 Meters: 13 years and above – below 16years (Born after 1st June 2007)
Participants will receive their Bib numbers on 24th June 2022 between 08:00am – 08:30am at the venue, IG Stadium, Kohima. The races will commence from 09:00am onwards, according to the respective categories. Refreshments will be provided to all the participants.
All participants are requested to arrive at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima by 08:00am on 25th June 2022.
The ongoing registration process is open to all young participants aged 4 to 16 years. There is no entry fee, and the last date for registration is 18th June 2023.
The Nagaland Olympic Association is pleased to announce that a total cash prize of Rs 50,400 will be awarded to the winners, along with merit certificate from the Nagaland Olympic Association. Each participant will also receive certificate from the International Olympic Committee.
The Cash prize categories are as follows:
1st Prize – Rs 2500
2nd Prize – Rs 1500
3rd Prize – Rs 1000
4th Prize – Rs 800
5th Prize – Rs 500

A confirmation call will be sent out to all the participants as a reminder and information of the event on 23rd June 2023 evening.
Participants who have registered by 18th June 2023 are requested to contact the officials for confirmation in case they do not receive a call on 23rd June, 2023.
