Peren District COVID-19 Task Force successfully conducted Mock drill on COVID-19 preparedness at Stadium Colony, Jalukie town on 29th April, 2020. The main objective was to ensure the preparedness of the District Task Force on COVID-19 to handle the emergency situation that will be created in the event of a COVID-19 outbreak in the district. Veterinary College DEAN and 9th IR Commandant were the external observers of the mock drill exercise.

After the mock drill, Exercise Information Officer announced for debriefing at Staging area i.e., Dobashi Customary Court, Jalukie wherein respective officers reported their activities to the Responsible Officer (RO). The external observers commented the mock drill was exceptionally perfect and lauded the DTF for carrying out their assigned tasks with professionalism. While debriefing, Responsible Officer cautioned the IRS &DTF team to be well prepared and keep themselves fully equipped before any eventualities related to COVID-19 arises in the district.
