The Department of Social Welfare concluded the Poshan Pakwada (Nutrition Fortnight) which was held from 16th to 31st March 2021 at DC's Conference Hall, Peren on 31st March 2021.

            ADC Peren, Mhathung Tsanglao encouraged the Department and its team to keep up the good work and to try to do even better in the coming days.

            Deputy CMO, Dr. Lanuakum mentioned how the District Administration, the Department of Social Welfare and the Department of Health and Family Welfare are interlinked and inseparable in their activities and services to the public.

            The program was chaired by District Programme Officer, Asangla Jamir while District Program Assistant, Poshan Abhiyan, Mezilungliu Nchang gave the report on Poshan Pakwada. Of the targeted 4000 programs, the district was able to conduct 2005 programs in the five blocks of Peren District with a total participation of 30,000.
