The Pfuchatsumia Students' Union organized a One-Day Literary Programme with the theme "Pages of Tomorrow" at Marocchino Hall, Christ King Church & GMS, P. Khel, Kohima Village on 15th July 2023. Director of the Department of Information & Public Relations, Dzüvinuo Theünuo, graced the occasion as the Special Guest.

Dzüvinuo Theünuo expressed her gratitude to the PSU for inviting her to be a part of the programme. She emphasized that organizing such an event requires efforts from all stakeholders, including executives, students, and parents. She urged the students to be God-fearing and maintain humility, stating that academic achievements alone are not enough if one lacks fear of the Lord and humility. She encouraged them to listen to their elders and friends, as it helps gain new ideas and knowledge. Setting goals and practicing time management from a young age were highlighted as crucial habits for future success.

Theünuo also emphasized the importance of being an avid reader, not only focusing on academic books but exploring various genres of interest. Reading fosters wisdom and provides an edge over others in the long run. She encouraged students to realize that the potential for gaining knowledge lies within them and that self-imposed limitations hinder their growth. She further advised them to stay positive, resilient, make time for reading and relaxation, strive for excellence, and avoid procrastination, as it obstructs progress towards achieving goals.

Ruokuovituo Mere, the President of PSU, emphasized the significance of the Literary Day as the most important event in their annual calendar. The programme, primarily organized for students in classes XII and below, aims to instill a sense of competitive spirit and guide them towards success through hard work, perseverance, and meritocracy.

The programme included various competitions such as Debate, Elocution, Extempore Speech, Solo Singing & Instrumental, Spelling Bee, Quiz, Painting & Sketching, Essay Writing, and PSU Got Talent, with participants from different schools.
