A meeting in view of the forthcoming District Level NYKS Yuva Utsav-India@ 2047 Programme was held on the 29th May 2023 in the office chamber of Deputy Commissioner, Phek.

District Youth Officer, NYKS, Rebecca while highlighting the activities of the programme mentioned that the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Phek, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports along with the District Administration Phek and Government Higher Secondary School, Phek will be organizing a one-day revamped Yuva Utsav-India@2047 under the theme “Panch Pran” of Amrit Kaal on 8th June 2023 at Government Higher Secondary School, Phek. She highlighted that during the event, students from different schools of the district will be participating in competitions under five heads, Young Artist Camp-Painting, Young Writers Camp-Poem, Photography Workshop, Declamation Contest, and Cultural Festival-Group Events.

She also requested the Heads of Offices to help identify appropriate agencies/Departments to open stalls/exhibitions in addition to the core components of Yuva Utsav, Allied Programmes to showcase the innovations, achievements, and initiatives of Government Departments/Agencies/Organizations that would benefit the Youths.

            Deputy Commissioner, Phek, Kumar Ramnikant IAS also called upon the HoOs to participate in the event by opening departmental stalls to showcase the works undertaken by each department that would be an opportunity for the departments to demonstrate practical skills and showcase awareness that would educate the students.

During the meeting, suggestions and discussions on how each department can perform during the event were shared.
