The District Administration Longleng led by Deputy Commissioner, W. Manpai Phom NCS, along with Superintendent of Police, District Disaster Management Authority, PWD (R&B) and Dobashis of Longleng inspected the affected areas caused by the landslide on 21st July 2026.
In view of the numerous disaster incidents reported across different parts of Mokokchung district following days of incessant rainfall, the Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS convened a District Level Coordination meeting with concerned Heads of Departments and representatives of civil society organizations at DC’s conference Hall on 21st July 2026.
