The virtual Inauguration of the 100W FM Transmitter Tuensang by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was held at FM Tuensang Station on 28th April 2023.

Speaking at the inaugural programme, Deputy Commissioner Tuensang Nokchasashi NCS said that opening the FM Station at Tuensang would greatly benefit the people of the area, as people rely on the radio for their communication, to get information and news. He further said that the FM Station would transmit information about locally relevant programmes, education, health, and social issues to the masses which can bring a significant change in the life of the people.
