Concerning the upcoming Mega job fair, a press conference was held with the media on 22nd October 2022 at Emporium Skill Training Institute, Vikiye Colony Dimapur, near IMC Hall. The mega job fair is being organized by Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. Nagaland in association with District Skill Committee-District Administration.
ADC, Mhalo Humstoe, in her briefing, thanked the Emporium Training Institute for organizing a mega job fair in Nagaland.
Operation Manager Emporium, Anirban Mukherjee, during the briefing said that the objective of the mega job fair is to find out the aspiration of people in the State who are educated and unemployed and are aspiring to join the particular industry that is being offered. The job fair particularly focuses on the Hospitality industry and till now the numbers registered are 440. He informed that for this job fair, 8 Giant companies are partnered - Taj Hotel, Oberoi Hotel, ITC Hotel, Jio World Centre headed by Nita Ambani which is Asia's largest convention and entertainment center in Mumbai, Deltin Cruise & Casino which is also one of Asia largest offshore Casino and Cruise line and only company in India which deals in cruise & Casino.
He stated that Hospitality industry has a lot of positions to offer, hence such a platform is open to breach the gap between the unemployed youth and industry so that the aspiring youths can come forward and interact without any hassle and hesitation and get the best ideas directly from the industry face to face. He informed that candidate who makes it in this job fair will be given offer letter on the spot and those who doesn't make it, the Emporium institute are there to guide them.
He further informed that each company who is coming for the job fair is offering above 100 vacancies, so with 8 companies, there will be a total of 800-1000 vacancies for the aspiring youths. He added that this job fair is open not only to the unemployed youth but also open to all skilled people who are working in Nagaland, indigenous as well as indigenous too.
The necessary documents needed for the job fair are Aadhaar/pan card, passport, documents of Education qualification, and Resume. The education qualification for the selection process starts from metric and above. Hence, urged all the aspiring youth educated unemployed, and skilled youths to avail the platform at a one-day event mega Job fair which will be held on 28th October 2022 at 9.30 AM at District Agricultural Office, LRC Colony, Dimapur.
