The officers and staff of Governor’s Secretariat and household Establishment, Raj Bhavan observed the Constitution Day on 26th November 2021 at Banquet Hall, Raj Bhavan, Kohima.

Commissioner & Secretary to the Governor, T. Mhabemo Yanthan exhorting the gathering said that the Constitution is the supreme law of India and every citizen should respect and honour with dignity. He also acknowledged the works of the father of the Constitution, Dr. Ambedkar, popularly known as ‘Baba Ambedkar’, the man behind the birth of Constitution of India. It was adopted on 26th November 1949 and became effective on 26th January 1950.

Commissioner & Secretary also administered the oath by reading out the Preamble to Constitution followed by the staff present.
