Distribution of relief packages to needful families and persons affected by the COVID-19 lockdown under Bhandari Sub-division, got started at Bhandari on 21st June 2021 at Town Hall, Bhandari, Wokha.

During the distribution programme, SDO(C) Bhandari & Border Magistrate, Merapani, T. Sulanthung Lotha, expressed gratitude to the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Wokha, for the assistance rendered towards the needful community members who were affected by the current lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He informed that the same relief package which included items such as rice, dal, potatoes and sugar etc. would be provided to the other administrative headquarters of Baghty, Champang and Merapani village, (Marachü Yan) by the concerned administrative officers in the coming days.

Altogether, 300 beneficiaries availed the package in the presence of Lotha Hoho and Eloe Hoho, Bhandari Town, Lotha Lower Range public Organisation, (LLRPO) Bhandari Town Students' Union and GBs.
