In pursuance of Government Order No.DSE/MISC-MHRD/2020(Pt.), Dated, 23rd November 2020, the Directorate of School Education has notified for the information of all concerned that the winter vacation declared to Schools functioning under the Department of School Education vide this office Notification of even number, Dated 9th December 2019 has been cancelled.

Schools shall remain closed on account of Christmas and New Year Holidays from 23rd December 2020 to 3rd January 2021 and shall resume functioning from 4th January 2021. School Heads, Teachers and other Staff should remain in respective place of posting w.e.f. 4th January 2020 and continue with the activities related to the Online/Offline Continuous Learning Programme and other Training Programmes to be launched by the Department. However, separate notification will be issued regarding the re-opening of schools for the academic session 2021, till such time schools shall not ask students to come for regular classes for 2021 academic session. It is to note that remedial classes for classes 10, 11 & 12 shall continue, which will be notified by NBSE.
