Shooting competition of the ongoing Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2022, ended on 25th August, 2022 at Shooting Range, Multi Disciplinary Sports Complex, Dimapur, with Advisory Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Women Resource Development, R. Khing as the special guest.
R. Khing in his address gave credited to the Chief Minister of Nagaland for promoting and giving importance to games and sports in the State. He stated that in shooting, Nagas have a born instinct and will do very well if the players put effort, determination and hardwork into the game.
Altogether, 55 participants from nine districts participated in the event. In .22 Prone 50 MT Rifle individual ranking (women) Kumjano L Tungoe from Wokha District took the first prize. R. Elia Rhakho from Phek District and Loshulu Jeshing from Tseminyu District came in second and third respectively.
