District Administration led by Deputy Commissioner Peren, Vineet Kumar IAS initiated mass social work at Peren district on 3rd June 2023 given the onset of monsoon season preparedness to clear off the clogged drainages, culverts, and waterways to ensure free flow of water and jungle clearance, etc.

In the mass social work, district administration, town council, and all heads of offices actively exercised and took part in the mass social work. As per direction given by Deputy Commissioner Peren, different wards, and villages carried out mass social work within their respective jurisdiction to prevent damage to roads and drainages. The objective of the mass social work organized is to ensure the prevention of the dangers of disaster in the district.
