A special camp for registration of unregistered workers under e-SHRAM National Database of unorganised workers was organised by the Department of Labour, Government of Nagaland in collaboration with Pfutsero administration on 26th October 2021 at Main town, Pfutsero.
Chairing the camp, EAC Dr. Riku highlighted on the ongoing registration of unorganised workers all over India. Keynote address was given by Assistant Labour Commissioner Phek, Neimenuo Koutsu. Stressing on the importance of the ongoing project she insisted all the unorganised workers to come forward and avail the opportunity pointing out that citizens between the ages of 16 to 59 are the beneficiaries.
Categories of unorganised workers such as domestic workers, construction workers, migrant workers, agriculture workers and other unorganised workers were to benefit themselves in availing various government schemes by enrolling themselves in the portal.
