Government Spokesperson and Advisor IT&C, MmhonlumoKikon stated that the Cabinet has decided to provide free COVID-19 vaccines to all 18 years and above citizens of Nagaland starting from 1st May 2021 across the State.

He also informed that a total of 1,86,350 vaccines have so far been administered in the State so far and that Nagaland has a high rate of minimal wastage usage of the vaccine as compared to other States in the Country. There is no shortage of vaccines in the State, he further added.
