Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Poji, has announced the relaxation of traffic movement restrictions for vehicles with two axles or more, including 10-wheelers and above, in Mangkolemba sub-division with immediate effect. However, this relaxation comes with specific conditions aimed at ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of the route.

In the event of any damages occurring along the route, the owners of sawmills and coal contractors in the area are obligated to repair and maintain the affected areas.

The ADC of Mangkolemba and the Sub-Divisional Officer of the Public Works Department (NH) will actively monitor the route. They are tasked with submitting reports in the case of any damages observed along the specified stretch.

            The relaxation of traffic movement may be stopped at any time deemed fit by the competent authority.
