TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT GUIDELINES ON TWO WHEELER TAXIS

In continuation of the Transport Department's Notification of even No. dated 28th Oct. 2019 and in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 95 of the Motor

Vehicles Act. 1988, the Government of Nagaland has notified that:-

The ceiling limit for issue of two wheeler taxi permit in each district shall be:

The Driver of the two wheeler taxi shall wear yellow helmet and yellow half vest with an inscription “TAXI” at the back of the helmet and the vest.

The pillion rider shall wear a uniform colour code of yellow helmet.
