In partial modification of Transport Department Notification of even number dated 11/07/2022, the vehicles beyond three-axle, including semi-tractor articulated trailers whose carrying capacity is 30.5 tonnes or more, which are carrying materials/equipment/goods, etc., meant for the ongoing capital connectivity project for Board Gauge New line from Dhansiri to Zubza by Northeast Frontier Railway, are allowed to ply on the National Highway stretch from Dimapur up to Molvom/Pherima.

The load being carried by every such vehicle should be within the limits as provided in the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, and Central Motor Vehicles Rules 1989, and before such vehicle enters Nagaland, prior intimation with full details shall be provided to Deputy Commissioner Dimapur and Deputy Commissioner Chumoukedima.
