TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTIFIES ON BOOKING FOR CHOICE VEHICLE REGISTRATION NUMBER

In the interest of public service, the Government of Nagaland has notified that the Motor Vehicles Department under Transport Department has introduced the system of ‘Booking for Choice Vehicle Registration Number’ through payment of a booking fee of Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) only valid for a period of 6 months at the Registering Offices across the state. Such booked choice shall be extended for another period of 6 months only subject to payment of Rs. 2000/- for that period of extension. No further extension whatsoever shall be made for the booked number after the expiry of the extended period.
