In pursuance of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways directive vide letter No. RT-11036/19/2021-MVL dated 06.09.2021, the Transport Department has notified that vehicle owners may get their vehicles affixed with retro-reflective tape from any vendor if the retro- reflective tape has been type-approved as per AIS-090 by any of the testing agencies specified under rule 126 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989.
