The Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Ltd. (TRIFED), in collaboration with the Longleng District Administration, has announced the 'Tribal Artisan Mela' as part of the "Marketing and Logistics Support for Promotion of Tribal Products in NER (PTP-NER)" initiative. This event is scheduled to take place at VDB Hall in Longleng Town on 27th September 2023.

Tribal artisans have been cordially invited to actively participate in this event by presenting samples of their products. To register for the event, they are required to submit the following necessary documents: ST certificate, Aadhaar card, Copy of their Bank Passbook and Passport-size photograph.

Participation in this event will provide tribal artisans with the opportunity to become affiliated with TRIFED, offering enhanced access to markets. Additionally, each tribal artisan will receive a travel allowance of Rs. 500/-, which will be deposited directly into their respective bank accounts.
