Urinal shed was inaugurated at main town Kiphire on 8th September 2021 by DPDB chairman T.Yangseo Sangtam MLA.

During the programme DC said that the urinal shed is funded by NEC Aspirational District Programme. He also mentioned that works like construction of two School buildings and power line in Pungro Sub- division, guest house in Seyochung and road repairing are some of the ongoing works from the fund of Aspirational adding that more programmes are on the way.

Urinal shed was needed especially for the shopkeepers, police personal and general public so he appealed to the public to maintain it properly as it as a public property.

MLA encouraged the general public to have civic sense by keeping the urinal neat and clean. Government properties should be taken as a privilege and one should be responsible, he said. Kiphire District being the most backward districts in Nagaland should set an exemplary life to other Districts, he said further calling upon the pubic to practice rain water harvesting during the raining season. District Administration, Ward chairman, GBs and NGOs attended the programme.
