Zunheboto district held its monthly DPDB meeting at the DC Office conference hall on 16th June 2023. Zunheboto Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman Zunheboto DPDB, Rahul Bhanudas Mali, IAS chaired the meeting. Zunheboto DPDB chairman Ikuto Zhimo, Advisor for Land Resource also attended the meeting. 

In his opening remark, the Advisor applauded the PHED department for carrying out the Jal Jeevan Abhiyan scheme very successfully and sincerely. He also applauded the DC and SP team for the timely intervention and for containing the recent unfortunate incident in Zunheboto. He requested all the HoOs to be in the station and help the public by serving them sincerely and advising them to make known to the public about the departments' various schemes and projects like Ayushman Bharat, eSharam, CMHIS, CM Microfinance schemes, etc. He also advised the Land Resource department to encourage the people to plant more coffee and educate them about how to preserve its quality and how they can export it as Nagaland coffee is also rated as the best in the world. The chairman added that it was the need and demand of the people that random appointments be banned, and the government has accepted and has set up an NSSB and so requested the people not to blame or criticize NSSB or NPSC but rather encourage their children to study hard and crack these exams if they want a government job. 

The agenda discussed was the upgradation of Little Spring School at Alahuto colony to class 8 and on this agenda, the Department i.e SDEO Zunheboto informed that the department has verified and that it was found to be very satisfactory and so requested the house for upgradation and the house agreed on it to be sent for upgradation to the higher authority. The second agenda discussed was the setting up of a sub-center at Aquba village, and upon discussion, it was deferred to the next meeting.

The Deputy Commissioner Rahul Bhanudas Mali, IAS informed all the HoOs to give in writing about their departments' various activities along with photographs to be included in the DPDB booklet. The DC thanked the members for their presence and concluded the meeting.
