After five intensive days of deliberation of State business Nagaland Legislative Assembly Speaker Sharingain Longkumer adjourned the 7th Session of the 13th Assembly Sine Die on 19th February 2021.

            In his concluding remarks the Speaker acknowledged all the members of the House for their active participation and contribution towards the all important duty of the legislators in formulating the plans and policies of the Government and ensuring that the state works continually for the welfare of its people. He said that the discussion on the Naga Political Issues and the decisions and resolutions adopted during the current session were a huge milestone and would be remembered throughout the course of our history.

            He expressed his gratitude to all the Legislators led by the Leader of the House Neiphiu Rio and Leader of Opposition T.R. Zeliang and to all the government officials who contributed in various capacities to ensure that the 7th session of the 13th Assembly was conducted successfully.
