As part of the preparation for the upcoming Independence Day 2021 celebration at Tening HQ, Additional Deputy Commissioner Tening, Rosietho Nguori has informed that there will be a mass social work on 12th August 2021 starting from 7:00 AM. 

The mass Social work shall involve the general public of all the nine wards in the Town, Tening Town Council and all Government department in Tening.

In this regards all the citizens of Tening Town shall be involved in the work which will include cleaning of the whole town area, sweeping, grass cutting and drainage clearing etc. The respective ward GB's shall monitor the work in their respective ward jurisdiction.

All the Heads of Offices shall ensure that all the staff personnel are involved in the social work and all the shops in Tening Town shall remain closed till the completion of the work.The SDO (R&B) Tening shall be the overall supervisor of the social work.
