The Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, has informed that a coordination meeting will be held on 28th July 2025 at 2:00 PM in the DC’s Conference Hall, Kohima, to discuss the visitation of Homes and Institutions by NGOs as part of the upcoming 79th Independence Day celebration on August 15, 2025.

In this regard, the following NGOs are requested to kindly make it convenient to attend the meeting: President, Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union;  President, Puliebadze Club; President, Lions Club; President, Royal Club ; President, Classic Club; President, Rotary Club; President, Gorkha Public Panchayat, Kohima; President, Hindu Kalyan Samithi, Kohima; President, Indian Red Cross, Nagaland State Branch; President, Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry; President, Kohima Masjid Committee; President, Nagaland Motorcycle Club.
