“Today, an order has been issued wherein, the existing guidelines with regard to the Lockdown/ Unlock in all parts of the State issued on the 31st of August 2020 shall continue to remain operative in Nagaland till further orders.
A total of 81 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today – 20 in Kohima, 57 in Dimapur, 1 in Longleng, 1 in Mon and 2 in Mokokchung. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 6,244.
Out of the 6,244 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 5,094. The active cases are 1,078 and there have been 12 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 1,044 active cases are asymptomatic, 32 active cases are mild and 2 active cases are moderate.
Further, out of 6,244 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 2,974 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,501 cases of Returnees, 1,423 cases of Traced Contacts and 346 cases of Frontline Workers.
A total of 51,305 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 50,330 samples have been received. In addition, a total of 28,395 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 28,319 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test 1,777 samples have been tested.”
