The full text is as follows:

 

“A total of 60 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today - 22in Kohima, 35 in Dimapur, 2 in Mon and 1 in Tuensang. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 5,604.

Out of the 5,604 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 4,491. The active cases are 1,072 and there have been 10 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 1,042 active cases are asymptomatic, 28 active cases are mild and 2 active cases are moderate.

Further, out of the 5,604 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 2,640 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,454 cases of Returnees, 1,182 cases of Traced Contacts and 328 cases of Frontline Workers.

A total of 47,612 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 46,792 samples have been received. In addition, a total of 26,847 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 26,773 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test, 1,413 samples have been tested.

A total 523 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.”
