'Bijli Mahotsav' was observed at Kiphire Village and Phelungre Village in Kiphire District on 26th July 2022.

EAC Kiphire (Sardar), Chubamongla highlighted some of the achievements and the ongoing works relating to power in the district. She said Kiphire district is one of the most fortunate districts as compared to other districts because electricity has already reached every corner of the villages and various departments are executing developmental activities.

She appealed for judicious electricity consumption and timely payment of electric bills.
ADC Kiphire, D. Robin appealed to the public to assist the Power department as the Department is working tirelessly in connecting every corner of the villages with electricity.

To engage with the visitors and guests, various cultural programs, nukkad nataks, and screening of short films on the power sector were organized. The events also witnessed several beneficiaries sharing their experience regarding the power supply. The program was chaired by E.E (Electrical) Kiphire, Chutsusie Thowachu.
