Culmination programme of Demand-driven skill development training for youths of Nagaland in the construction sector was organized by the Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and training partner Zynorique Initiative Society at DC's Conference Hall, Noklak on 23rd July 2022.
Deputy Commissioner, Noklak Hiazu Meru asked them to be strong and ready to work whenever and wherever there is demand for work.
He appreciated the Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, and Zynorique Initiative Society for the successful conduct of training from 18th to 23rd July 2022 and expressed hope that such training will also be held in the days to come.
Later, DC handed over the certificates and tools to all the successful trainees.
Superintendent of Police, Noklak Dr. Pritpal Kaur mentioned that time, skills and quality workmanship is very important for any type of construction. She requested the trainees to share their knowledge with their fellow friends.
President, Khaimniungan Students Union, Shangchiu spoke on the importance of dignity of labor, discipline, quality workmanship, and time management in construction work.
On behalf of the trainees, Sulim and Kongpe Y shared their experiences of the training and thanked all the stakeholders for the opportunity to learn.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by District Employment Officer, Tuensang T. Yimlikumzuk while the presentation was initiated by Vice Principal ITI, Tuensang Er. Netenba Ajem. Altogether, 50 youths of the Noklak district have been trained during the week-long training programme.
