In response to the observation made concerning organising ‘Medical Camp’ hosted by Seva - Pokhwala (Noble Social Service Organization), the Department of Health and Family Welfare had clarified that as per letter No.DHFW-PD/MISC/2021-2022/9504-05 Dated Kohima the 17th September 2022, all CMOs and MSs were requested to co-operate and give assistance if required in the medical camp (which is in the interest of citizen’s health). It was never the intention of the Department to order the staff to organise the Medical Camp in favour of any party or organisation.

The Department stated that any untoward misunderstanding was regretted.
