As discussed and decided during the coordination meeting on Covid-19 held on 15th April 2021 at DC's Conference Hall, Longleng, all villages and ward authorities under Longleng district have been requested to circulate and implement the following guidelines issued through the advisory in their respective jurisdiction for surveillance of returnees coming to Longleng district from outside the states:

1. The returnees upon arrival to Longleng district need to self isolate/home quarantine for a period of 10 days.

2. During the home quarantine period the returnees will not be allowed to venture outside his/her house. Visitors should be restricted and should practice Covid-19 appropriate behaviour.

3. The family of the returnees should not be discriminated in anyway including procurement of essential commodities.

4. The returnees shall be released from home quarantine after 10 days if they do not develop any Covid-19 related symptoms.

5. In case of cough/fever/difficulty in breathing/lose of sense of smell and taste/conjunctivitis diarrhoea or any other Covid-19 related symptoms they should immediately report to the authority so that necessary action can be initiated.
