On October 31, 2023, a district-level one-day training session on the People's Plan Campaign (PPC) for the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) involving Line Departments was conducted at the DPDB Conference Hall in Kohima.

The training program was attended by officials from ten Line Departments. The session was chaired by P. Koza, Project Director, and District Programme Coordinator (DPC) for Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) under DRDA Kohima.

Pichano Kikon, Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) of Kohima from the District Administration, addressed the attendees and emphasized the significance of the PPC on GPDP with Line Departments.

The training consisted of two sessions. The first session was conducted by Vilopi Angami, Block Development Officer (BDO) and Programme Officer (PO) for MGNREGA in the RD Block Jakhama. He provided insights into GPDP.

The second session was led by Vitsizo Semou, Assistant District Programme Manager (ADPM) for the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) under DRDA Kohima. He focused on the Village Poverty Reduction Plans (VPRP).

The program included a discussion session to address any queries or concerns. The vote of thanks was delivered by Kevilhoubei-u, Project Officer at DRDA Kohima.
