Fish seeds releasing programme at Nsonji Lake, Sendenyu village was organized by Fostering Climate Resilient Upland Farming System in the northeast (FOCUS) and International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD).

Deputy Commissioner Tseminyu, Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi IAS, and Deputy SPD, FOCUS, Nagaland, Lipokonen Jamir released the fish seeds at Nsonji Lake on 26th July 2022. 

Yhunsenlo Kent, PIT-FOCUS-IFAD, and Joint Director Fisheries & Aquatic Resources welcomed all the invitees. Officials had a brief interaction was held with the officers and visiting officials & Nsonji Lake Management Committee, Angling Demo by Anglers Association of Nagaland. Earlier, a total of 400 pkt of fish seeds were distributed to Sendenyu villages and Rumesenyu village. Sivi Mor, DPO/PIT, FOCUS-IFAD Kohima chaired the programme.
