The 16th Saramati Soccer Championship 2025, under the themed "Victory through Teamwork ", was inaugurated on 9th January 2025 at the Public Ground, Pungro Village.
The program was organized by the Saramati Nexus Club in collaboration with the Department of Youth Resources & Sports, where the event saw Advisor for Fire & Emergency Services, Home Guard & Civil Defence, S. Kiusumew Yimchunger as the special guest.
In his address, S .Kiusumew Yimchunger highlighted the importance of sports in promoting unity and discipline among the youth.
Teams from across the region are competing in the tournament, which is celebrated as a platform for showcasing football talent and fostering community spirit. The event promises thrilling matches in the coming days.
The Programme was chaired by Dolen C, Secretary, Saramati Nexus Club Pungro.
