On 11th May 2020, the fifth day of the transportation exercise altogether 33 buses carrying 956 stranded persons departed from Kohima to various districts in the State. Out of the 33 buses 13 buses went to Mon, 11 to Tuensang and 9 buses to Kiphire.

SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT CAUTIONS
The Principal Director School Education, Shanavas C, IAS has informed that it has been reported that few schools in the State have issued notifications regarding resuming of classes in a phased manner which is in violation of the Lockdown Order issued by the Govt. of Nagaland (No.CSO/GAB-I/COM/GEN-I/2020, Dated, Kohima, the 4th May 2020).
GOVERNMENT ASSIGNS
In the interest of public service, the Government of Nagaland has assigned Y. Kikheto Sema, IAS, Agriculture Production Commissioner as the over all in-charge of Dimapur District, for all COVID-19 related activities being carried out in the district, with immediate effect.
DC MON INFORMS ON UPLOADING OF SCHOOL ASSIGNMENTS
Deputy Commissioner, Mon Thavaseelan K, IAS informed that in view of the imposition of National Lockdown and closure of Schools, the District Administration, Mon with due concern for the academic session of Secondary School Students will be uploading videos with weekly assignments for the Secondary Students in its You Tube Channel (Deputy Commissioner Mon) from 4th May 2020 onwards.
EMPOWERED GROUP CONVENES MEETING
Secretary, F&CS and Member, Empowered Group for COVID-19, Dimapur, W. Honje Konyak, informed that a meeting will be held to discuss various issues relating to people returning to state post lockdown at Commissioner's rest house, Bank Colony, Dimapur on 11th May 2020 from 11am.
