EXTENSION OF DEADLINE FOR HSLC & HSSLC EXAM 2024 FORM SUBMISSION

In continuation of Notification No. 78/2023 and Notification No. 81/2023, it was announced for the attention of all Regular Repeaters, Centre Repeaters, and eligible Compartmental Candidates of HSLC & HSSLC Examinations 2023 conducted in June that the deadline for submitting forms for HSLC & HSSLC Examinations 2024 is extended until 31st August 2023. No further extensions will be granted.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR TWO WHEELER TAXI PERMIT IN TUENSANG

The District Transport Office Tuensang, in reference to the Nagaland Transport Department Notification letter NO TPT/MV/14/2018/1000 dated 13th August 2019, has invited applications for Two Wheeler Taxi permits in Tuensang, aimed at providing employment opportunities for the indigenous inhabitants of Tuensang District. Applicants must possess a valid driving license to operate a two-wheeler and an Unemployment Certificate issued by the competent authority.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY FOR PHEK

Deputy Commissioner of Phek, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS announced that the traffic route leading from existing KM 30.474 (near Kidima Road Chakhabama) to existing road KM. 53.220 (near Kikruma Village) (Design Km. 29.600 to Km. 51.5) on NH-29, which was previously temporarily restricted as per a notification issued by the Office of DC Phek on 17th August 2023, is now reopened for all commuters with immediate effect.

WEATHER UPDATE BY NSDMA

Nagaland is expected to witness varying weather conditions over the upcoming week, according to the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA). The region is likely to experience cloudy weather with moderate to very heavy rainfall activity. A significant increase in weather activity, featuring frequent rainy spells, is anticipated starting from August 20, 2023.

The advisory pertains to the condition of the road on National Highway 29 (NH-29) between existing KM 30,220 (near Kidima Road Chakhabama) and existing KM 53,474 (near Kikruma village), which falls under Kohima-Jessami road (Package-II).
