Sharingain Longkumer, Speaker and the Chairman of the Rules Committee has convened the Rules Committee meeting on the 18th of August, 2023 at 02:00 P.M. in the Committee Hall of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat Kohima.

The Directorate of Treasuries & Accounts have notified that the Life Certificate for Pensioners issued by Gazetted Officers and submitted to Treasuries & Banks is hereby amended and will now be collected only as per the new format.

The District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) of Phek convened its regular monthly meeting on the 10th of August, 2023 at the DPDB Hall in Phek. The session was chaired by Kumar Ramnikant, IAS, Vice Chairman of DPDB and Deputy Commissioner of Phek.

The meeting commenced with a warm welcome extended to all members by the Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman. This was followed by a review of the minutes from the previous meeting.

The 77th Independence Day celebration took place at Aghunato Town with G. Ikuto Zhimomi, Advisor for Land Resources, presiding as the special guest.

As a part of the commemoration of the 77th Independence Day, various charitable organizations extended their celebrations by visiting 11 different institutions. The initiative aimed to spread joy and solidarity while contributing to the well-being of the community.
