The Nagaland Board of School Education has informed that the Election Commission of India has issued instructions to maximize the enrolment of young/prospective electors from the campuses through active participation of educational institutions, the details of which are given below: 

In view of the upcoming General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and to ensure a peaceful atmosphere in the district, it is required to conduct physical verification of all firearms and ammunition being held by the licensees in the Wokha district following the rules 30 and 112 of the Arms Rules 2016.

Implementing Support Agency (ISA), PHED Tuensang Division, Alongphi welfare society, conducted a one-day block-level workshop on Village Functionaries and FTK Users on 15th December 2022 at Shamator Block.

The Food and Civil Supplies Department has issued a letter stating that on 24th November 2022, Advisor, F&CS, LM&CP and Taxes, Pukhayi Sumi declared the start of the functioning of the Nagaland State Food Commission in the presence of Chubasangla Anar, IAS Commissioner & Secretary F&CS, Y.

Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Ajit Kumar Ranjan, IAS informed all concerned that there will be a mega camp for enrolling and registering beneficiaries under CMHIS/PMJAY on 17th December 2022 at Tiyi Hall, Wokha from 10:00 AM onwards.

The Chief Minister’s Micro Finance Initiative sensitization and awareness programme would be organized on 15th December 2022 at Vamuzo Memorial Town Hall, Chozuba at 11:00 AM.
