As directed by Commissioner Office Kohima, Letter No. CND/SPSM-ABUSE/2023/773, the District Administration, Noklak served notice on 27^th July 2026 for organising " National Pledge Against Drugs Abuse" on 18^th August 2026 at 9.00 AM, across Noklak district.

The Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, NCS, has lifted the restrictions imposed in and around Signal Angami Village following the successful completion of surveillance for African Swine Fever (ASF) and confirmation that no fresh cases have been detected.

In a significant step towards environmental protection, the Deputy Commissioner of Chumoukedima, Polan John, NCS, has issued an order prohibiting the use of Single-Use Plastic (SUP) items and single-use plastic bottles in the district with effect from 1st August, 2026.

District Economics & Statistics Officer Kiphire has informed that, in collaboration with UIDAI, the department is organising a Aadhaar registration camp for children in the age group of 0-5 years at DESO Office, Kiphire from 3rd August to 14th August 2026.

The Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, has issued a notification following the confirmation of African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreak at Rütsie, P. Khel, Kohima Village and Mezoma Village under Kohima district.

According to the notification, positive laboratory test reports received from the Office of the Chief Veterinary Officer, Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services confirmed the outbreak of the disease.
