In view of the ensuing Independence Day Celebration on 15th August 2022, Deputy Commissioner Peren, Vineet Kumar has informed that there will be a mass social work on 12th August 2022. In this regard, all Heads of Offices under the Peren District have been directed to ensure strict compliance and attendance of all the staff, and all have been directed to assemble at assigned locations at 9:00 AM positively.

The Department of Power has informed the public that a disconnection message that is circulating claiming to be from an electricity officer is likely to be a scam, as the Department of Power does not send disconnection messages via WhatsApp.

District Administration Longleng has informed that a mass social work will be held on 13th August 2022 from 06:30 am till 09:30 am, therefore all the concerned citizens of Longleng town have been requested to actively participate in the cleanliness drive.

Further, the business establishments are directed to whitewash their shops and keep their shops closed till the completion of mass social work.

Deputy Commissioner Kohima has informed all the Kohima DPDB members that due to the Independence Day Celebration on 15th August 2022, the Kohima DPDB meeting for August has been preponed to 12th August 2022 (Friday) at 10:00 AM in the Kohima DPDB Conference Hall.

All the members have been requested to note the change and make it convenient to attend the meeting positively.

Deputy Commissioner Kohima Shanavas C, IAS has informed all Head of Offices posted at Kohima HQ and GBs of Kohima Town and Kohima Sadar that there will be compulsory attendance during the celebration of the 76th Independence Day on 15th August 2022 at Secretariat Plaza.

    All concerned have been directed to compulsorily attend the same and added that any absence shall be viewed seriously.
